Free Shred Event at Laurel Branch on May 20th
Get rid of your sensitive documents securely at Tower's Shred Day on Saturday, May 20. The free event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the parking lot of Tower's Laurel Headquarters Building. Our shred days are fun for the whole family, while helping our members prevent fraud. There is a limit of five boxes of documents per car. While you're there, enjoy free refreshments, games and prizes. You'll also have the opportunity to chat with representatives from the Tower Car Buying Service, Tower Wealth Management® and our HomeAdvantage® program. We hope to see you there!
Vote for Tower's 2023 Board of Directors
Be sure to cast your vote this month for your volunteer Board of Directors. There are currently three open seats on Tower's Board, and four candidates. Hurry! Voting ends April 30, 2023.
Two Easy Ways to Vote
For your convenience, you have two voting options—online at a secure voting site or by paper ballot (upon request).
To vote online: Visit https://towerfcu.cuballot.com/. You will need to provide your Tower member number and last four digits of your Social Security number to verify your eligibility.
You will have the opportunity to view the candidate photos and biographies before casting your vote. Each member can vote once, and joint account owners are not allowed to vote.
To vote by paper ballot: Call 1-877-452-0970 to request a paper ballot be mailed to you.
Make sure you return your completed ballot by April 30, 2023. We'll include a pre-paid return envelope with your ballot, along with the candidate photos and biographies. For security reasons, ballots cannot be accepted in a Tower branch.
Come to Tower's Annual Meeting
We will announce the election results at Tower's Annual Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place at Tower Headquarters, located at 7901 Sandy Spring Road in Laurel, Md. All Tower members are welcome to attend.
