Money for College with a TowerCares Foundation Scholarship
Calling all college (or college-bound) STEM and Foreign Language Linguistics majors! The TowerCares Foundation is proud to announce its seventh annual College Scholarship Program.
This year, we are happy to announce that we will again award up to 30 $5,000 scholarships! Since the program's inception in 2018, TowerCares has awarded $360,000 in college scholarships.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The TowerCares Foundation Scholarship Program is open to all current high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors, who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Foreign Language Linguistics major.
Applicants must also meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must attend an accredited U.S. two- or four-year college/university full-time for the 2024-25 academic year.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
- Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, or Virginia.
- Must not be a previous TowerCares scholarship winner.*
The Selection Process
Scholarship entries will be evaluated by an independent selection committee** and recipients will be selected based on consideration of the following criteria:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- Statement of career and educational goals and objectives
Additional consideration will be given to children/dependents of active duty military and Veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces, including Reserve and Guard units.
How to Apply
Scholarship entries for the 2024-25 academic year will be accepted April 1, 2024 through May 15, 2024. Only online applications will be accepted. Details.

The scholarship must be used for tuition and tuition-related expenses at accredited, two- or four-year colleges/universities. Award checks will be made payable to the college or university.
